Handle id #15650 : Maniax

after cba pointed me on the below mentioned releases, and i spoke to jihad, who hasnt ever heard of either the releases nor "maniax" i guess i can safely say that this was some kind of "local lamer" group, which has nothing to do with "us" =)

What the Hack? #2 is some kind of "diskmag" written in a notemaker... there is a contact address in it:

T.A.V.
Hoogenwaardstr 41d
3042hd rotterdam
holland

also it mentions two people who worked on that "mag", "maniax" and "mace". in the credits of the note it says "spreading: drm, shark, hellraiser".

in the intro scroller of Rambo III +22H +Keymap (which is so lame it cant even be called a recrack) it says:

"hitmen members are now: maniax, chance, shag, duf" ... "ex triangle soft united members: skinhead, alf, eldorado"

before i create a new group in the database, maybe some of the nl people can comment on this? curious to know where these guys came from and where they eventually endend up =)

Never heard of a Maniax/Hitmen either. The mentioned Mace is constantly here on CSDB.

Maybe Mace can elaborate on that...

Btw, I haven't heard of them either.

That is another Mace and certainly not me.

But I came across some demo that says "The Real Hitmen" and it was on a disc I recently transfered (but not yet sorted).
The disc was in a collection from a guy in Rotterdam.

[edit]
I just browsed through that collection and found:

Hitmen 1991 memmbers:
Maniax, Mace, Shag, Techno, Skinhead, Hellraiser, DRM, Shark & Duf.

It seems that this collection belonged to one of these guys or at least to somebody close to them, as there are a load of floppy's with dir-edits with Hitmen logos.
I will look into it a bit further.

There is a Real Hitmen intro on one disc that has been used by a guy called Yel, which is probably the guy who owned the discs, as I find Koala pics of him all over the place.

The intro is accompanied by a short BASIC note that says the intro was written bij Warrior.

Also, the above mentioned guy Shag uses the name Wodan.

Let me sort it out and put some stuff online (either as released in CSDb or as D64 files on my homepage).

[edit]
Ooooh... this is baaad! :D
There's a crack from Ikari+Talent on one disc, and The Real Hitmen put their intro in front of that... LAMERS! :D :D

Damn, I thought I was member of the real! Hitmen. Guess I was too young to judge it correctly.

For history's sake it's better that I add those lame recracks too, don't I? :-)
They'll be added shortly.

yes, please do... it'd also be a good reference to check when adding new releases.
