Logos required?

Hello, I`m fairly new to this site and just getting a feel of the C64 scene. You may have noticed I`ve added 3 logos lately (obviously the quality is in question - I`m totally new to this) :) Anyway, I`m looking for a group or scener who requires a logo. The aim is to have a specific reason to draw my next one - bare in mind I don`t have any problems with it not being used if it isn`t up to the required standard. (I`m mostly after more practise/improvement).

Well don't offer to do one for Jeff/VRZ because even if you hand craft a hires logo with sprite overlay and end up converting the sprites manually he won't finish coding his editor ... ;-) I'm not bitter - honest!

Poor Bizzmoboy - but i bet that particular logo got way more attention being released seperately :)

heh,

I know the feeling. I have made a few logo's that are 'out there' sitting on disks, waiting to be used. For all I know they may never be used. Such is the position many logos find themselves in.

I've never seen the point in releasing a logo by itself. And logo collections are only just passable, providing they contain logos that were not drawn with the sole purpose of appearing in a logo show (if that makes any sense).

I've got quite a few logos and pictures that I would like to use, but if I do I will probably be killed by the guy who did them.

Hi Sander ;-)

I don't know what to be more offended by! Being called "Oldman_Bizzmo" or the suggestion that I _couldn't_ do a melted metal logo in hi-res with three grey's white and black!

I'll do it as soon as you finish your new editor and work out how you're going to display the bloomin' thing! (Although the time it takes you to do your editor... ;-)

Nice idea. I have some Logo prepared that would need some shape-up, since I am no pixelizer ;-) Interested? Anyway, i put it online here:

@Bizzmo: I am pretty sure you could do a "melted metal"-like logo. As graphician you're a 10 out of 10 on my list.
And I only called you old_man as you tend to always bother me with the same few lines of "humor" or what it is you've got going. But I guess I am not allowed to give you a little "pay-back" on that account. :-)
Once again sorry that I didn't manage to get any intro or something done with the X-SID logo, as this seems to bother you a lot.
And I guess I'll just have to stop telling you what I'm working on. I am a perfectionist, so I don't just finish things in a rush. :-)

'Jeff graphic editor'

Wonders what Jeff is coding editor wise that hasn't been done already? :)

My first (automatic) thoughts were, Oh it's going to be hires with 2 layers of overliad sprites. Am I correct in thinking this?
