What happened to scener's photos? Is this a bug or some kind of a privacy issue... stuff?
Just as the title says ^

Part of the EU GDPR thing we were forced to do. So no, it's not a bug. |

Any chance for an opt in for sharing our profile pic and legal name? |

That is possible, I guess. Needs some recoding that Perff might not have time for, however. Plus: the obvious problem that every scener entry then must be locked to that very scener, and the scener must identify himself etc etc. I would say just leave it as it is. This is not Facebook anyhows. |

the whole thing is really whack in any case. if you'd actually be serious with the GDPR compliance, you'd have to shut down csdb =P |

Perff could have at have least deleted all user photos he still has in his database. 3rd party sites and applications still use the pictures since the URLs to these pictures still work. Btw, one could question if this is not a data breach.
I am not sure if users can still delete their photo. I have done this quite a while ago, so I cannot check. All I know is that I cannot upload a new photo.

Actually, technically, the way Perff has implemented hiding the user photos on CSDb, he still needs consent to share the pictures with these 3rd party sites and applications.
So, let's hope Perff will soon do an "rm -rf /sceners/photos", or whatever the location is, to fix this problem ;-)
(or implement a decent system so we can give consent) |

Scenexit then ;)
IMO photos should be visible to registered users only - Facebook for example. |

fuck GDPR on CSDB.. I want my picture back.
When GDPR is a case here, delete real name and contact info also, as well as email address.
I think GDPR is not a issue here... |
