Sorting buttons

Dear CSDB-Team!
Would it be possible to make some "sorting-buttons" on the group- or handle-pages so one can sort the releases by date or type. I find it quite disturbing on pages like Krill's one got the credits for hundreds of releases which uses his loadersystem and to sort "his" real releases by hand...

Thanks!

i'd still like an option to sort by date of addition to the database for that matter (so i dont have to check the whole list when i just want to know if someone added some of our groups releases recently)

oops, didn't saw it... But still, I think it would be more intuitive to put a button upon the list on each category. And there's no option to sort by the credittype (code, idea, gfx, msx, etc...) which would be very helpful, especially these days, when one does everything for himself.

Just an idea, but IMO the release page would be much less messy if the different types of releases would be separated (with anchored links on the top). This would be only an option, those who'd like the classic sorting would be able to revert it.

Jump to: Demo, Graphics, Music, Games, Whatever...

Demo
---------------
list by date...

Music
---------------
list by date...

Graphics
---------------
list by date...

etc.

sorting gui should be done like its anywhere done: if the user clicks at the top of the column (header) he wants to sort by, the list will be sorted by that column.

Oswald, sorting table-data and what I'm proposing are different things. What I'm trying to suggest is something else. Your's is a good idea but if a huge table-chunk remains, it will still be a usability mess-up (especially at huge lists like WD's). It's up to the admins if they want to change anything but the model for group-pages came to my mind from IMDb, and it works quite well there. It could be even updated to our needs.

Note that it's not related to dinamic sort of tabular data!

jailbird, imagine using my method and clicking on the category sorting. you'll get the same listing as your example on imdb, except the Titles and extra line breaks when the category changes. sort by date could be a defacto 2nd sort option to ease things.
