True Survivor - SidTracker 64
Moppe/Oneway's first sidtune in many years is a remix of David Hasselhoff's "True Survivor" from the upcoming movie "Kung Fury", made using SidTracker 64 which was programmed by Pernod/Horizon for the iPad. I did the C64 graphics for the video. Check it out, there are dinosaurs and everything:

The tracker can export C64 .prg files, the tune in the video takes about 15 rasterlines. |

Then I'll strongly recommend making a "lite" version that doesn't save/export and has a limitation on number of patterns, etc. |

Nice, die Nazilookalikes die. Once it's available I'll definately try it, so I won't be bored in the train on my way to work.
Even though 15 rasterlines is impressive, I do hope it's still a musician's tool, not a coder's tool. For my personal fame and glory I'd rather have extra player features than a super optimized player. But I have no doubts Pernod can combine best of both worlds. :) |
