C64 Reloaded MK2 problem
After few attempts with several monitors and VICs, problems with horizontal synchronization of the image displayed by MK2 still occur. Is there any Reloaded MK2 user, who have similar problem? I just want to find out if my model is damaged or is a general defect of these boards.

Try to change other chips than the VIC as well. |

This is not LCD problem. As You can see, with normal mainboard everything is ok.

On CRT single pixels flash:

I try two different VIC, four different cables on S-Video and Video port. |

I meant you could change the CPU as well and other chips that might be a bit bugged. |

I have experienced the same problems but I was not sure it was related to the C64 Reloaded MK2 in combination with my other hardware.
The problem occurs for me when I insert a 1541 Ultimate 2+ in the cartridge port of the MK2 with a certain USB stick (SanDisk Cruzer Ultra Fit 32 GB).
When I remove the USB stick, the problem is gone and I don't see the display artifacts anymore. Other USB sticks work fine.
Using the 1541 Ultimate 2+ with the USB stick on an old C64 board, the problem doesn't occur. |

On orginal board everything was ok. So i must suppose that chips are ok too.
Fred:
I was thinking that same as You. Until the moment, when I connet this little thing:
https://www.olx.pl/oferta/commodore-c64-sd2iec-nowe-emulacja-st..
Problems are the same with that SD2IEC and 1541 U2+.
Is my MK2 board is broken? |

Did you try another power adapter?
So without the SD2IEC connected the problem doesn't occur?
Make sure to report the problem to Jens. Perhaps it can be fixed with a firmware update or it can be solved by using a different power adapter. |

Some minor issues start to appear when more devices are being connected - if it were a normal C64, I would suggest switching the PSU to something more capable than the standard one. I suppose the MK2 has a beefy power supply on board? Still might be a good idea to try another 12V wall wart, possibly higher rated. Wikis says min. 1 A recommended. Also "For best picture- and sound quality, the power supply should have less than 100mV ripple on 12V." |

I check this. Problem does occur always, without any hardware too. And I tested other power adapter, no diffrent.
I dont think so, that it software problem. That is why I wanted to get to know opinions of the different owners of these boards. |
