SID playlists
Once there was a project call BOV (Best Of Various) which callected the best SID tunes from the Various directory of the HVSC. There was also a spl (SID playlist) of the other directories. These spl were made according to audiance preferences. I think these spl were really cool since listening to them I got to know some of the best SID tunes.
I made my own spl, with my favourite SIDs and I think most people have his/her own. Wouldn't it be a cool idea if we could exchange our spl? Could we put them on our personal page on the CSDb?
Since each spl is made from a particular version of the HVSC, in the spl name it should appear the HVSC version it was made from. Mine would be: ready_HVSC_5_7.spl

I uploaded my SID playlist at http://noname.c64.org/csdb/getinternalfile.php/5039/ready_spl_H..
I put it in the cathegory "Idea", I guess we need a new cathegory named "SID playlist". Now upload your spl, I'm looking forward to listen to them!!!
The only thing I don't understand is why in the Lastes Additions at http://noname.c64.org/csdb it shows credits for Bleze and event TRSI meeting....I didn't provide these infos. |

I'm sure there are people who are interested in other people's playlists, but I don't think CSDb is the right place for them. |

I thought about the CSDb since it is the only web site that I know that people can upload things and is quite known. Do you think I should remove my spl from CSDb? Yeah, the HVSC site could be a good place, I agree, but it doesn't have this feature yet. Could the HVSC crew people add it? |

Either you get someone (HVSC, c64.sk, whatever) to do it for you, or you do it yourself. CSDb isn't the right place and I definitely think you should remove your playlist. |

To put it short:
We, the HVSC team, will not establish a service like you proposed in the near future. Lack of time and real life overflow error, you know. If you want to do this spl-exchange service yourself, we will promote it with a link, of course. |

I've just realized the email address showed in the mail I sent was wrong, that's why it was full. I re-sent you the mail and now the correct address should appear....well I guess you answered me on this forum, which is the same. Ok, I understand the "?real life overflow error". Even if at the moment I don't know how, I'll try to built my web page and do this spl exchange thing. Thanx for your sponsoring offer.
