This pirate site lists Striders accomplishments chronologically including all the games he cracked in his formative years.
so csdb is a pirate site now?.... |

I wonder if we will get a lot of wannabe investigative reports digging through the site now looking for other people to "expose"... |

Lovely, isn't it? Next all of us will get accused of terrorism by providing and distributing "secret manuals" using a cryptical underground language (assembler) or using dangerous software ("Little Koala-Shower" e.g.). Within the next 3-5 days the csdb will get added to the axis of evil.
The though itself is so funny, that I can hardly restrain laughter. ;) |

I think that comment refers to the link to *.emucamp further down in that paragraph which has "that word" in the url.
There's a follow up here btw:

Holy shit, this stinks.
I cant even begin to describe how fucked up this is.
Reading those articles made me want to puke. They are literally digging up shit and blowing it totally out of proportion.
Citing the Fairlight slogan like he's some gunslinging nut roaming the streets, shootin' them commies.
If it wasn't so sad, it would be funny. Strider the mafiaboss, hilarious.

No, it's pretty funny. I'm in California and used to talk to Tony all the time. I do worry for him though. We've had a few corrupt Republicans in the last few years and I don't think they're going to let this go. I wouldn't be surprised if warrants get issued and they start digging up his network traffic from his ISP too. It's probably going to be rough going for him over the next few months. But it is funny to read a piece like that in the paper. |

I remember that picture! Hahaha. Wow. Poor Tony. And a reminder that the past can catch up with you. |

"Hoist by his own petard", is it?
For those of you unfamiliar with US Politics, the Republicans are the "law and order/Christian morality" weirdos. What was he doing cozying up to THAT lot?

Sure the article is a lot of crap, especially the stuff about terrorism ties, but appointing one of the worlds most notorious pirates as the head of the budget committee is pretty damn stupid :)
