Future of C64 demos
Just seen this awesome video http://vimeo.com/16219591 and instantly thought that this style is pretty much achievable on C64 (including the soundtrack)... it would be tricky to manage memory though.

Not a lot of loading should be required to do something in that style, it's basically just line-drawing, filling and a little math. Unless you want a sampled soundtrack, but you wouldn't want that, would you?

Not my cup of tea, too glitchy.
I'd prefer something like this in a smooth way.
BTW, the video reminds me of Trans*Form, in a way. |

@perplex: indeed... it looks like a typical 4k approach on pc... a single effect/scene used with a lot of different params plus music sync. |

Very cool demo Digger. The future of demo coding is bright. There are many new techniques yet undiscovered. NUFLI was just recently created. Much more is yet to be created. |
