Obscure old shit

..should be the perfect place for a request - as usual :)

I am looking for:

"Intracourse" - 4 disk sex therapy alike program :)

"Last Will" - Some text edit toy with fragments to make up your last will (likely).

"Basic Bär" (german) some programming aid thing?

I stumbled upon adverts of these recently and it seems there were c64 versions of all of them.
All of these were, well, fullprice programs. Ranging from 100 dollars to 1400 Deutschmarks (hehe - back then like 500 dollars?)

The review for CUM (puahaha) was by Arndt Dettke. Did you try contacting him, he is still around.

By accident I've found out now that a copy of "Basic Bär" was sold in February on eBay Germany as part of a disk collection.

It was easy to find out who the buyer is. Alas, eBay prevents contacting him or her for not having any transaction going on we both are possibly part of. That's something I've never experienced before on eBay.

Curious enough eBay didn't prevent me contacting the seller. That's maybe because he's got other auctions taking place. He answered my request stating the he couldn't contact the buyer neither anymore for the same reason as me.

Here's the link to the auction: http://cgi.ebay.de/Commodore-C64-ca-110-Disketten-Spiele-Progra..

If anybody can make use of this please do so.

Nearly missed the update - oops.

Actually I did contact Arndt and he replied that even if he'd have it he would not pass me even a crippled copy. (He promised to never spread material he was given on a trust base.)

I think he didnt quite get that I want the prog just for the name :)

Looking for the actual author of CUM didn't lead any further.

Thx trb for the note - since I deny the existence of egay and other such sites I don't have a way to contact the buyer as well :(

Hey,
Ebay's privacy is bogus :)
You can check the feedback list of the seller for the buyer (can be 100% identified by count of auctions).
In fact I just did.

There you can contact him.

Yeah, that's exactly what I did and tried to do. As I stated above it was a piece o'cake to find out what the buyer's name is.

After knowing the eBay name I tried to contact him/her. Alas, eBay got (at least on ebay.de) some new rules for contacting eBay members. That's what I meant by stating that eBay is preventing me from contacting him/her. It seems as contacting somebody on eBay(.de) is impossible as long as the person to be contacted is not having any auction on.

So what can we do about it? Watching the buyer's profile waiting for a chance.

Maybe eBay members from outside Germany will be able to contact the buyer?

P.S. @enthusi: Did you pin it already to your wall? (Xbow, Graham, enthusi) ;)
