THE MOVERS Treasure Chest III

A new thread with a new collection...

Here is my own collection, 3600+ disks converted for your pleasure, hopefully containing some missing or incomplete releases from the scene.

The disks were sitting in my garage in Tasmania, Australia. This is my SECOND collection of C64 wares as my first collection (disks spanning 1985-1996) along with all other earthly belongings, was destroyed with my house in 1996.

If you want me to re-convert anything, just tell me what's on the disk and the image number. Keep in mind, I will wait some time until all requests have been lodged, as I don't want to keep digging through the boxes over and over.

The collection is a 620MB 7zip file, available on the link below. Thanks to Mace for the temporary hosting.

Don't know who's in germany, but there's a guy on lemon posting a bunch of disks that he'd like to goto a good home. Thought I'd post them there in case someone would like some stuff to archive and post here.

Also, he's got a good part of a '64er collection as well.

Quote: here a new pack FMB49:

# NIB
# D64

swasti_fmb49_disk178.d64 should be redumped as d71, it's "1571 clone machine" and I think it's some rare 128 only nibbler

if someone know how and can tell me how to make a good dump, please tell me. sending with snailmail (fax dosnt work..hehe) to someone who do this is also possible.

i have:
1541-ii with parallel cable (i almost do my transfers with this - on an old laptop with nibread)
does nibread with 41tracks helps?

mmc-replay with rr-net
1541u1 (maybe a 5141u2 in the next weeks)
unmodded 1571 (not sure if ok, no parallel cable)

I used a 1541-II with a parallell cable and an old laptop earlier, but now I use my 1541U and WarpCopy.

Btw swasti, the 1541u2 doesn't have Ethernet (or is USB ethernet dongles supported now?), better to use 1541U?

A 1571 should work via WarpCopy just like a 1541/-II I'd guess?

I only know of StarCommander able of using 1571 and saving d71. No clues on opencbm.
For sure Warpcopy site doesn't list 1571 as usable devices but better hear from Graham.

Courtesy of Nucleus, here's a small pack of Transcom releases.
http://iancoog.altervista.org/hid/TCOM.7z (if appears the Altervista redirector, just click on the "qui" link)
I've removed only the obvious duplicated files, not yet finished checking it. Interesting for the rels from Serbian division of TCOM.
Please host on the usual mirrors, so I can remove it from my site.
