What's you favorite?
A number of times I've been surprised when listening to tunes that for some or the other reason have been suggested for listening by other users of this forum. I thought that some of you would like to share some of your favourites with the rest of us. It could probably broughten our horizons and at least let people hear some tunes that haven't gotten the attention they disserve. Anyone up for it? |

"http://www.c64.org/HVSC/VARIOUS/M-R/PRI/Show_Must_Go_On.sid one of the best covered tunes i've ever heard, almost 1:1 with all freddie's voice nuances"
Jammer: I love Freedy's stuff too. Freddy's voice and Deacon's guitar (that even more) was quite a challenge. How about http://www.c64.org/HVSC/VARIOUS/A-F/CreaMD/Break_Free.sid ;-) (sorry for shameless promo) |

I like tunes with creative use of digis, and Tim Kleinert has this one

Deacon played bass for Queen - you probably meant Brian May, although I would agree far more if the praise was really for John Deacon. May's guitar style is far too hard rock and 'explosive' for my taste, whilst the Queen basslines are classic and sometimes inevitably funky.
Back to nous moutons.
The power of simplicity:

@CreaMD Nice one indeed!
@Inge: cool.. is there any way of filtering HVSC on digi's or digi+sid tunes?
(or otherwise please suggest some more *grin*)
My fav. digi of all time, probably my fav. 1 file demo:
the digi: http://www.c64.org/HVSC/VARIOUS/A-F/Cycleburner/Sign_O_Times.sid
the demo: Sign o' Times
(be sure to play both in 6581 sid!)
"Oh yeah.." simple and perfect.. have it running for half an hour already :)
@Randall nice.. actually led me to run through Dalezy's directory finding a lot of good stuff! (for instance spotlight.. love this one)
@psycho MSK indeed brilliant.. so many classics :)
------------
Another one you might like is:

Done by Twynn, my old groupmate.. and I should really look through my old disks.
There must surely be a lot more that he did then the ones in hvsc.
