Come on, do a bit of research yourself. Everything is explained nicely on the homepages of the products, don't have us serve everything on the silver plate for you... |

surely its better to talk to the experts as they can tell you without having to do all the reading |

As if the experts don't have anything better to do than explaining the obvious to people who are too lazy to do a little bit of homework themselves... Sir, you're expressing a good deal of ignorance and arrogance!
Edit: That's purely my personal opinion, not necessarily related to this website at all. Don't want to discourage people from explaining it all over again. |

If you decide to use Starcommander on PC under X1541,XE1541 cable etc
drop me a PM And I`d be glad to help you along... Its not neccesary to waste

Those cables are easy to get (and cheap), turbo mode is fast,easy and reliable, I've done a lot transfer stuff the last "years", so you needn't bother the Experts :) ...
But I wouldn't recommend this way for the Amiga ;)) |

Argh, I was a little harsh, sorry. Reread the whole thread and noticed that the answers aren't as trivial as it seemed on first glance...
1.
RR+RR-NET - no, no need to connect to the internet to use this. Although you could connect to a router or PC network with it (and in turn access internet with it with f.e. Contiki).
2.

Sorry? It links your C64 with a PC in one of these two ways:
C64 -> RR -> RR-Net -> Router/Switch -> PC
C64 -> RR -> RR-Net -> PC
Does that answer your questions? |
