I'm not defending this product, but the guy behind it certainly has enough money coming in to fund it and anything else he wants to play with. |

Curious. Where is the power supply, or the socket for electric cable? Can't identify it (not very good in small PC parts) |

It needs no old fashioned electricity. It's powered by pure desire! |

A real C64 is an emulation of the creator's thoughts... |

Hello,
I am one of them godfathers of C64 scene, and its people like me who could create a new C64, but now you have done it.
I would want to buy one, but i want to direct your attention to something, and it is this:
-------------------------
RISK OF LOSS
All items purchased from COMMODORE USA, LLC are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This basically means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS
COMMODORE USA, LLC and its associates attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, COMMODORE USA, LLC does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by COMMODORE USA, LLC itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

I will translate this:
it means:
1) if i order and pay a C64, and it never get delivered to me, its my own problem
FACT: this will never hold in court, and if you are trying to cheat people this way, you will loose, and its all gonna be very bad for you.
2) if the machine dont work at all, or has many production faults, and just is a piece of amateur shit, or even a scam, i have no rights at all, and this is just bad for me, and by agreeing to the terms that appear on the buy/pay page, i have just signed that you can scam me and rip me off, and i have signed that this is ok, and will therefore have no dice in a court case.
FACT: you will surely also loose this in court, plain and simple.
Those terms are not legal, and you are breaking the law.
So please delete them.
If you really are a C64 lover and have created this machine, then you shall stand for quality and deliver what you promised, and give 1 year warranty, as you are obliged to by law.
OR else, you are just a no good scam company, and you never loved the C64, and are just one big hoax.
AND thats plain and simple! how it is.
So now you convince me you are not a scammer, else i wont buy.
Friendly said :)
These types of terms are standard for software, that its all the users own fault, but you cant do this with regular consumer product, and you know it.
Be fair and honest now, or you wont sell anything, what do you want ? life is a choice, do A or B, all the time.
Friendly said!
I am talking to your morale, and if you have one, then you will also see what i mean.
Lets hope for the best!
This is not a threat, i only ask you to do things right, because you really love C64, and have no plans to cheat people.
Ok :)
That was it..

Quote: I wonder how the sid emulation sounds on this thing.
That's one of my biggest concerns. Otherwise the new case might be usefull to put old c64 hardware inside. :-)
it will sound like a sea sick zx spectrum... |
