SPACE FOR C64 ???

What kind of space do you have for C64 ?
Do you keep it in cardboard box and put it in livingroom when needed ? Or do you have a proper room for it ?

I have kept my C64s in storage.... boxes, storage rooms....
But now when we bought our own house, I have started to build own room for my C64s C128s Amigas and other computers.

Just curious how others do it ?
(I suppose girlfriends and wifes aren't Commodores best friends :) )

This was my setup before I moved: http://www.white-flame.com/uber_workspace_of_d00m.jpg Yes, I was too lazy to rotate the image. :-P All's in storage besides the PC, until I find my own place.

C128, SCPU128+16MB, HD100, FD2000, modded 1541, REU, GeoRAM, Omnitronix RS232 to the PC, 1084s.

Some photos of my setup.

Notice the price-tags on the items. Oh, also the light-grey 1200 baud Commodore modem. :)

Dude, I think some washrag and soap action needs to be happening on that setup! :) "Scrubbing Bubbles" works great for removing funk like that.

Sorry... hate to see a C64 unclean ;D

Yeh some more graffity is needed. My last case was absolutely caked with scene-propaganda from the hand of Vengeance. My data-room is not the cleanest, but it certainly does have character and quite some memories too. :)

jazzcat + cyberbrain: I agree completely. A clean and unmodified c64 feels naked. :)

If I only had a camera I'd post a pic of my monster here.

Oh, and to be somewhat on topic. When I switched apartment some time ago, I bought this 3x1 m desk/table at Ikea. Overkill for just 1 c64 setup. But far better solution than I had in my old apartment (20m2 room) where I had to remove the c64 whenever I wanted to eat.

I have plenty of space for my c64. I just bought a new hard-drive and my old demos+games are all on a DVD. Winvice doesnt take too much space :)
