"ignore" certain groups?

Is it possible to not only chose to display "demos only" but also introduce some selection of groups to be ignored?
I feel a general tendency to do so among several sceners.
However discussable this point of view is, it would for the moment maybe help to avoid some bashing and CSDb users could "generate" an exclusive understanding of "their" scene.
I think some ignore-groups-list would suffice - however I assume this is way more complex on the server-side than ignore single user-posts?

Maybe people have an opinion on this feature?

Good work.

If people just acted accordingly then none of this has to happen. Hopefully they learn their lesson and start to respect the rules a bit.

That's pretty amazing to read.. It takes a lot to get banned on this site.

[trivia]not really- you can also get banned for something you werent contacted about and 2 months after that had happened. my account was closed for christmas and when i asked for a reason i was referred to my contributions from october LOL. but that was a while ago,i trust the moderators have worked up their reaction time a little.[/trivia]

assiduous: yeah well. moderators aren't perfect, etc :) the big difference between you and some other guys that were banned is that you are actually able to deal with a conversation beyond "OMG UNBAN ME OR I DELETE CSDB" or "MEEEH UNBAN ME OR I WILL KILL YOU!!!!!!" :)

It was his first release if i remeber right. And whats false on it to join then a group to learn to make it better? Are you all here born with all infos about cracking, coding etc? I dont think so... Everybody (!) has to learn about it. And to bann a beginner... Thats not a good way i think...

everybody has to learn, yes. and we all started as lamers. and most importantly: we all had to improve our skills to get anywhere. and scene sites/boards/forums/whateveryoucallit not accepting all and every bullshit has always been an important factor to establish a certain level of quality in the scene.

however in this case, what danzig said. if you happen to pop up and release something totally crap and then join a group which is right in the middle of some controversial "fight" and then get banned - for whatever reason - oh well. bad luck. he'll survive it. it's not like anyone would be stopping him from doing stuff, and eventually do something decent next time.

I've been disgracing internet C64 community for 8 years.. thas a bit too long for being still considered self-appointed.

And as far as the current situation is concerned, there are some "manifestations" happening "behind the scenes" that never get into public that are justifying our decisions.
