well, i think not. even swappers have their pride. and who would have ever dared to put such a crap on any disk to send to his contacts. ... there is NO creative process involved here. NO added value in any form. even if you rip sth and replace gfx in a demo with your own (as we did back in the days, i have to admit ) there is some small part of work and maybe creativity involved by putting things together in a new form. i can't see this with these intros. i might change my opinion if they were atleast re-coded. that could be seen as some kind of tribute, maybe. but i think they are just pure rip-offs. (i haven't checked the code) ... a new scrolltext in a ripped intro is no release! so it's not part of a scene that's based on people releasing stuff to show off with what's possible or what they can do. period!
