St:LCP 2008

After crawling through shit, piss and slime, and a little-longer-than-usual, another incarnation of the LCP series of parties has taken form.

Date: 1-3 August.
Location: Lund, Sweden.
Website: http://lcp.c64.org

Be quick to sign up!

Some of you might remember that I stated that LCP would be in Copenhagen/Denmark this year, but this changed due to 99 circumstances.

Yours,
Frantic of Hack'n'Trade

Yes, it has jiffydos built in, I think all ramlink do. As I recall when Gum first got it to use it for running a bbs he had it equipped with the maxium of 16 MB of ram. Looking into the device it has 4 memory modules with chips labelled HY5117400A J-70.
I'll ask Sledge since I know he is on the hunt for a ramlink. A difference is that you are running a bbs already, and I am sure you will actually use it ;)

I got a couple of c128 power supplies from Mazy/Noice when he gave away his old data stuff. But they are at my dads place, and I havent tested them.

And if it's any comfort, Gum did keep one fully functional c64 setup for himself =)

Also I got a battery backup unit for reu/georam, if its of use for anyone

Taper: how about you bring a C128 and we mod it to DC and make a powersupply from a good quality ATX PSU? That should solve the problem.

Quote: No, that's in Norway. Lund is in Denmark.

Christiania is in denmark. I should know, my parents have been there the past 2 weeks.

Next up from Gums collection:

One Vic20 with rf modulator and the black brick power supply. Seems to work fine.

Another Vic 20, this one looks a bit funky since it's put in a c64 case with keys from different keyboards(which dont fit the charset), the connector on the vic side of the rf modulator looks like it needs to be replaced, but the machine itself is fully functional and it has a regular c64 power supply.

Anyone who needs one? Perhaps something for Shadow to code for while waiting for a plus4? ;)

Also, for the handy oceanic man there are three oceanic drives, all without power supply. One works if fed with disks it likes, the other two say read error on track 18.

Shadow, naturally you will get it for free, just as I did.

Wow, that is even better! Hehe, I just skimmed the thread and I thought you were listing stuff you were going to sell.
I actually saw a Vic20 for sale for only 200 SEK right when I got in the door at BFP2007 and thought "Yeah, I'm SOOO going to buy that". But when I had hooked up my stuff and returned, it was already sold. I have been regretting that for a year now! :)

A working Oceanic drive would rule - mine's been broken since 1992.

Hollowman: Sounds sweet! Let's see if Sledge has a good reason then, if not I would love to use the Ramlink with Antidote!

And yes, it is actually a comfort to know that Gum still owns one setup. Just in case he decides to make a comeback! :)

Magervalp: Now, that's an interesting idea... Let's talk more about that, I'll mail you!

...that said, I always crave c128 PSU's anyways, since I have more c128's than PSU's allready. BBS, two work-setups, the party machine.. all c128's... ;)
