First!

Hey, a new topic, just for graphics. Nifty!

I used to draw pictures in Koala Painter a looong time ago.

Now I draw on paper and scan it into Photoshop:

Do any other old C64 graphic artists still draw today, outside the C64 scene?

I know Hobbit/Fairlight works at a comic book publisher today. Does anyone else draw for a living?

Prince / Dienstagstreff / TOM
Prince
does so. Do you know the sketches of Obsession's votesheets or his artwork in diskcovers ?
Why not send him a pm ;-)

Realistic: does "old" refers to the age or the inscene-time ?
;-)

Hmm, starting over with an UFLI-picture can't be the easiest way. But probably exciting ;).

Hi guy's this is my first post here on this forum,
But yes, i'm one of the oldschools who draws for a living now.
Was born in 1972, and when i was 11 i started playing with the C64 (i could be older)

I really had not a nick name then but i did lot's of art for many diffrent crews when i was around 14/15.
U know i must be getting old couse i'm not so sure about my age at that time, hahahaha

I have my own Graphic Design Company for 2 years now but i still remember the old C64 days.

This is amazing that there still are alot of people who is keeping the C64 alive and from now on i will get my C64 out of my garage box.
Still have it hihi, and with a final Cartridge III
Well guy's after 24 years......... it still works !!

i'm going to see what you guys have here.
Don't look funny when i ask a domm question okay.

I use to draw stuff with Koala back in the 80s. Back then, not for the scene but now I am getting into the scene with my graphics talent/skills. I am now working with a variety of video modes and the sort.

As with my release in SHFLI format - C64friends logo, I show that I have skill and talent. Soon, there will be more stuff from me. I will be working in multiple graphics modes. So I hope you all enjoy some gfx works of mine as they come about.

Talk is cheap, Rick. And by the way, how's Doom64 progressing? If a side effect of this project are some nice graphics, then fine.
But everything that counts is the outcome of productive work at the end of the day.

ok. Yes, talk is cheap. BTW: I thought that Doom64 was cancelled awhile back. The C64friends logo was something that I did a couple weeks ago and only had 1 week to do it in.

I'm at least now doing something so relax a little. Besides, it was the first thing I did in SHFLI anyway.

Other graphical art release *will* be coming about as time comes about as I have had alot of work on my house that I been involved in. This also gives me little time. This on top of college classes makes it a little difficult to spend a whole lot of time.

Anyway, I plan to do some stuff in a variety of graphic modes from Multicolor Bitmap/Hi-res bitmap to UIFLI.

As for making it an executable - I will like to know how that is done. As stated, I am starting in Graphics on the Commodore so I will need a little time to figure out all these things bit by bit.

@Wildstar: it is real simple to make a SHFli or UIFLI executable.
Simply save the viewer of the format on the same disc and then pack it with Sledgehammer (start=$1000).
If you start on U(I)Fli,let me warn you..
It takes a long time to finish something, but the results are great!
Ok,enjoy the painting!
