pouet dev

moi,

am developing/enhancing pouet.net site, got couple questions for csdb maintainers:

- is there an official 88x31 csdb button to add on pouet "we like..", i'm in deep need of one. ;)

- should i add possibility for pouet.net users to add their csdb id number (and have a linkt to http://noname.c64.org/csdb/scener/?id=xx on pouet.net/user.php)

- should i add possibility for pouet.net party.php to have a link to the same csdb event? it's always alot more informative than pouet's party.php page.

- similarly, should i add possibility for pouet.net groups.php to have a link to the same csdb group?

the reason i'm asking this is because i'm currently developing party.php more and thought it would be nice for c64 sceners browsing pouet prods and groups to go to the csdb counterpart faster, since its alot more informative; but dunno to what extent you'd want the john does and pc lamers that usually troll around pouet snooping around on csdb more then usual.. so i thought i should ask csdb ppl before implementing anything on that department.. could appear to be abit steping on your toes if i didnt ask your permision or something...

let me know what you think :)

well, I pretty much hate when programs decide about what I want to happen. Idiot cd burn software which always opens the tray _AFTER_ I had already taken out the cd, and closed it. Fuckin outlook express deciding over my head what attachment is dangerous. Fucking word, with its auto smiley, auto numbering, auto first letter big in sentence. argh.

Seems to me you're just using the wrong software. :P

I run linux. If i dont like what it does, I reconfigure it. If I really dont like what it does, I raise a bug. If I really really dont like what it does, I fix it, create a patch, and send it to the developers.

.. and if one SF is not linux compatible then you port it alone, then send it to the developers :P

@oswald: =D haha, I'd like to see that. Anyways, tips of the day: Each time Words auto-fixes some text or auto format or what ever, a small icon will appear. Click on this icon and choose that you wish word to stop doing whatever it's doing. Hence problem solved.

ok, and here is the most annoying thing, when I do a search in excel, in the advanced (or more>>?) part its possible to check wether I want it to find full or partial matches, Now once I checked that option. Since then I keep it unchecking and unchecking, and it misteriously appears again and again and again :)
