Best Format to distribute demos etc?

I've recently retrieved my C64 (and 300+ floppies from the loft) and have found a whole load of music, demos etc from 1988 - 1992 that I'm sure people would be interested in.

So, not that I've got my hands on a XM1541 cable and can transfer all this stuff to the PC, what are everyone's preferences for the way to distribute this stuff?

Obviously if it's a multi-part demo, then it's obvious that you just use a .d64 disk image...

But what about small stand alone files... music with players etc? Just distribute the .prg or what?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Bizz.

I wasn't really serious, honestly. I can type fast and know how to use commandline tools. But I avoid them where ever possible. Yeah, now you just keep on laughing about my new age attitude, you evil hackers...! ;-)

Quote: Well,I got quite a bunch of those.
Would you like to have them collected together?
I know there are some on the cracks I have uploaded already.
Unfortunately I don´t think it is possible for you to see what I have uploaded.

I download everything which is uploaded here and sort it out later with programs like Clearmame Pro. Saves me a hell of a lot work filtering out those double files.

But yes i would like to have the disknotes which you collected. I myself am sorting them by person/group. So if you can mail 'em it would be perfect, my mailadress is here on CSDB, as you might have guessed. ;)

@ Earthshaker,

OK,as I have a day off tomorrow I hope to fix a messages-disc for you.
Shouldn´t be much of a pain, like the UFLI editor I am trying to upgrade. ;)

Anyone else interested in old notes?
It won´t be much work to upload it here! 8)

I understood you weren't serious! :) I wasn't 100% serious either, but I do use a command line interface all day at
work.
