but yeah i enjoyed those two demo's more then the ps2 one too. |

So the mhz isn't a good indicator of performance?
The overlaying in the last part of threeve-beta just seemed more than the c64 could do, but I guess thats the point of demos ie giving the impression of doing the impossible.

No, despite the 1.76 MHz clock, it only has about 10-20% more cycles per frame. If you take into account that it lacks sprites, you have a pretty serious disadvantage. |
