Group id #4664 : Lamers With Conversiontools

A new group is born: Lamers With Conversiontools

Got no clue what the scene is all about?
You're a spaghetti-coder in basic?
You convert graphics and release them under your own name?
No real C64 at home but only WinVice on your hyperthreaded multimedia Intel Inside (tm) dad's PC?

No problem! Everybody can be a scener in Lamers With Conversiontools

Weeehee!

To find the best emulator, always run "Deus Ex Machina" on it first before anything else ;)

@CRD: Deus Ex rules! but I'm not sure that's the demo that EMUs have the hardest time on. I wonder which is? Any suggestions?

I dunno, but the Kefren bars in Bar4Kode still look like crap on recent Vice. Dunno about other emulators, though. :)

@Krill: Just checked out that demo myself. That's pretty neat coding! :-)

i'd try stuff from the late 80s when everyone was exploring raster stuff without (most of the time anyways) exactly knowing what they are doing. a lot of very "dirty" code has been produced in that era, some of which fails miserably on emu =P

It looks a bit better on CCS64, but I've not seen the demo on a real C64 (shame on me).
