SIDs that aren't in HVSC yet: part IV

After 317 posts in the previous one, I thought it is time again for a new thread. :-)

How about this one: Let's Party - at least I did not find any SID by that name done by Alien.

Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy is actually called Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy (ie instead y) and released in 1992

Hi ppl!

I'm just wondering if Mission Elevator theme is present on HVSC. I've been looking for it but i couldn't find it.

Thanks!

Edit: I found it (the hard way)! /Daglish_Ben/Bens_Music_Selector.sid (#11)

Thanks anyway! :)

"Mission Elevator" does not have any kind of music, just sfx.
The confusion is maybe due to wrong releases like
Elevator Music
even if this refers to "Elevator Action" (different game) it's not using Whittaker_David/Elevator_Action.sid but Daglish_Ben/Bens_Music_Selector.sid sub#11

That Ben tune was used in the wide spread Mission Elevator crack.

There's plenty of info wrong in the David Whittaker files, here are some corrections:

/All Terrain Vehicle Simulator
1988 (January)

/Amaurote
MAD/Mastertronic

/Back to the Future II
Image Works

/BraveStarr
1987 (December)

/Cheap Skate
1988 (August)

/Dark Castle
1988 (February)

/Defcom
1986 (November)

/Dynamic Duo
1989 Firebird (SPU is the development team)

/Exterminator
1990 (December) (confusion might be due to another game called Exterminator from 1988)

/Helter Skelter
Audiogenic (Double Vision Software is the development team)

/Iron Horse
1988 (April)

/Last Mission
1987 (August) US Gold (1986 is when the Data East arcade came onto the market)

/Living Daylights
full name is 'The Living Daylights'

/Panther
Entertainment USA (Mastertronic's label for US originated games, mostly from a team called Sculptured Software)

/Poltergeist
1988 (May)

/Real Ghostbusters
full name is 'The Real Ghostbusters'

/Spitting Image
1988 (December)

/The Wizard's Pet
MAD/Mastertronic also there is no ' in the game title -> 'The Wizards Pet'

ok for almost everything, just this one is weird:
/Panther
Entertainment USA (Mastertronic's label for US originated games, mostly from a team called Sculptured Software)
the cover has Entertainment USA logo, the inside of the manual
http://retrocollector.org/scans/700/17348.jpg
says (C) Mastertronic Limited 1986, Made in Great Britain.

Also, comparing the product ID on Panther with the other titles from Mastertronic/Entertainment USA indicates it was indeed a 1986 release.

As Entertainment USA is just a label it's of course (C) company Mastertronic and the production of the tape etc. was done in Great Britain of course. The game was programmed by Americans but initially published in the UK.
