c'mon man, you sound bitter. there is always a possibility to switch on to another genre. :)
if an mc sucks at writing, it's exactly like he couldn't keep the beat. i know about exceptions to this rule - ice cube writing the whole nwa joints etc. - but i don't consider them fine and let's do it too, won't hurt. and i doubt that anyone connected with the subculture will. 'cause hip hop is probably the only genre where there are/should be no professional lyrics writers, and ghostwriters are hunted down. personally, i'd like to keep it that way.
we're driving off the topic and far away, yeah, noticed that.
Don't worry man, I'm not bitter, at least not when it comes to this ;)
Also, I've never been wanting to score 'big' as a rapper because basically, I suck. Big time. I've known this ever since I first tried it out (1990 I think), and even though it hurts me sometime, it hurts me even more that I can't sing. At all. Man, if I only were able to sing, life would rock!
Eh yes, off topic indeed .. carry on ;) |

I work as a system & network administrator at a foundation that houses and cares for mentally challenged people.
Nice job although I need some more action over there once in a while.
Besides that I have a small homestudio where I produce Electro on semi-professional level.
I'm doing gigs too once in a while. Highlight was playing at a sub-party of Sonar, Barcalona last year.

don't have serious job... however few times a month I do some things concerned with computers and networks... web design , pc upgrades , network mainteance and so on :)
think about it:
I take care about computer systems in one company, I upgraded all low-end worker PCs and since 6 months they haven't called me even once - so is it good to really make this kind of job properly? those guys don't know what's going on anyway heheheh ;p well... just kidding , it's good to work properly ;-) |

Worked as network administrator at the german telekom, went to school again, worked with disabled people during the civil service and with children in a kindergarten afterwards. Nowadays I code web applications (e-shops, cms etc) and run a small record label in my spare time. |

Hmm... I learned insurance broker... found it too boring working in an insurance... went to university coming out as Master of Arts in politics and history and wrote a book about Open Source Software (http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/383342883X/028-6369008-6966921?..).
Besides working now as freelance webdesigner and IT-something in a small company, Mr.Lee/Cascade and me made a patchmanagement software (http://www.vislogic.de/eng/pm_info.html), which we are selling. Furthermore I support Mr.Lee's company (VisLogic) as good as I can...
@axis: nice to see you active here, Patrick... hoffentlich hauen wir heute Schalke wech :-) |
