As much as I agree that Mojzesh was being an arse at a personal level, what was the ban for exactly?
Take the "Mojzesh vs Wacek" bitch-fight out of the equation for a minute... I actually think he stated some valid arguments regarding real-time/animation code algorithms and so on. (Stuff I am absolutely lame on, nevertheless keen to learn from)
Having said this though, I saw those downvotes on Arise's releases at Teddy Beer. Those votes suddenly disappearing made me realise what happened.... seems to be second nature to me. :D

Realtime effects manifest by Mojzesh could've been really nice and merit introduction to proper discussion here (I'd argue about full redraw postulate, though). Too bad post ended with sth less cool. Well, happens. |

How can you tell if it is a ban or a person quitting and removing the account? I have no idea, just asking out of curiosity…?
And I agree it would be interesting if there would be a civil discussion about realtime etc. But the key word here is civil. And respectful to people with different views and/or well accomplished peers (I mean other coders, not myself). |

Well in that case he's still reading your posts while logged-out, and then copies/pastes your text to do the quote manually without using the quote button.

It's up to both of you to respond to arguments or go full rage with ad hominems, but once that happens, there are no I-was-just-standing-there saints anymore, sadly.
I really do hope you guys will resolve all the personal issues one day eventually.
PS. Forum messages seem not to be affected by PM status (and I'm indeed not interested in receiving lengthy private messages about how who is a bad person as a response to my comment solely about the demo. Please respect that some people are not willing to become dragged into third-party drama after they review a production. Thank you.) |

If he is banned in the future it won't be because of that thread. The thread was closed because of the shit stirring at the end.
One can lose access to functions of the website or be banned from CSDb for many reasons.
