I actually was experimenting with petscii, is there a good tool for the c64 to edit petscii stuff (and i don't mean, type shit in basic) kthxbye.

Yes. We live in Pixelation. The demoscene (especially amiga-pixelart to which we're the closest) has ignored us though we are close to ten years of existence, will this change now? And will it be for the best?

I am using bme (bildschirmmaskeneditor) and text-magic for dealing with text-screens.
Both are very good programs, but both in german..
Did not find them here, will upload them when i am back home.

@ptoing: There is a bunch of them. Check out TLRs hacked verion of Tyronpaint for example, or Digipaint or The Board Painter (The version by Tao/Triad).

check tyronpaint: Tyronpaint V2.1

for some examples check http://hitmen.c02.at/html/gallery_toe.html (or grab the actual collections and watch them on the c64)

I remember doing a lot of petscii stuff on the compunet modem's built in editor! Used to design logos for compunet home pages!
