Release id #2493 : Road of Excess

Bob Stevenson credited for music? Not that it's impossible, in the end there are two tunes in that demo by unknown composers. Can anyone confirm he's the author of one of the two tunes in question?

i can't say for certain that Bob wasn't a musician, but if he were i'd be wondering why Dave Whittaker did the music for Io...?

Well, I remember when people were flabbergasted that Hein did the music for my part of Visual Delight 2, so it's entirely possible that Bob fooled everybody as well ;)

Story i heard from Odie/Cosine (who knew Doug Hare at that time) goes that when he and Bob heard the tune Whittaker had sent, both danced around singing the words "crap tune" to it... if he were a musician, he'd have done his own, i'm sure. =-)

awww.. if he were a musician, he would've known Whittaker was one of the most skilled musicians on c64. It's just that his sounds were crap and shit and sucked and splashy snaredrum and strange slides and... (or maybe they shouldn't have been so stingy and buy a tighter snare drum)

LOL. Maybe David was just a graphic artist doing music after all.

Aww come on, you just gotta love Dave's splashy snares and his odd instruments, that's what gave his tunes that special something.

are you sure you're using a c64 to compute it?

mmm, this is getting confusing; Rob Whitaker is a gfx artist.. check some games like SWIV on c64.com. Ok, it's all in the double T that may make it impossible to compute...
