Booker, don't panic please. Just ignore the forums and comments and drama and ranting, and take this site as for what it is supposed to be - a resource of c64 scene history.
Don't let yourself get upset by that other stuff - I (and many others) take a lot of time adding stuff here, if I have a release with your music, I want to be able to give you the credit for it. Please.

Bugjam,
If you haven't noticed I'm also a significant contributor to the site. And I'm putting much heart into it.
Please understand, that this blatant aversion is starting to piss other people off, also. We feel not treated as equals here.
So far "staying calm" and "accepting things for what they are" gave us nothing. I think "ignore it" is not something I would expect from a fellow scener, not anymore. Including you.

Yes, I do highly appreciate your work and the amount of stuff you are adding (although you used to be a bit lazy with adding credits ;-) - but that's ok, as this can be done by someone else as well). I was in no way taking a judgement about the whole cause of the discussion: personally, I fully agree with you that those, let's call them "borderline" entries should stay here(it does not hurt anyone to have them in the db, especially if they are not even taking up space but just feature an external dl link) - I was just referring to the fact that Booker not only decided to leave the site, but also to delete his own entry. If someone gets annoyed about discussions or comments here, he should just ignore them, is all I'm saying.
And if I would see any chance that my contribution to the discussion about this issue could change things, I would do so; unfortunately I have no new argument to add, and in the end it boils down to the people maintaining the site. They are not very flexible in some points indeed, but that is hardly going to change I guess. My suggestion to you as a compromise would be to add some trivia and links on the Arise group entry. It is understandable that you are taking things personally to a certain degree, as there is a lot of your heartblood in the contested release; but I am sure it would happen to any other group or person as well.

Bugjam, I really appreciate your voice in this discussion, as I respect you as a scener and as a person, but:

Unfortunatelly, you are wrong.
K2DEMO.DVD created in 2005, untouched for 7 years, even till now. Explain to me, what's the difference, besides the group name, nationality etc.

Looks like gaming and fatherhood took your activity away. :/
Hope you come back in the future. Likewise with myself.

I see, that sounds friendly :) I don't mind removing my account and all my stuff from this website if that's just about you want to play "the Father" role Groepaz was so good at.

Mind I have rights to enforce by law as to where the stuff I have rights to is published, if that's enough of "closely watching" to you.

Oh. Don't start that discussion. Just move along and join the fun again, booker. I am looking forward to what comes next from you when it comes to musical extravaganza. When your tune was played at X2010 I throwed myself to the floor in pure joy and excitement. I want to feel that way again.

I have right to explore ways of acting like a fool and self humiliate myself, and I do that from time to time, just like you. Bro. Gimme high five...

Dude, I didn't start it. I'm too old to be told off by a moderator like that.

Thanks man, me too. That's scene you see. Same stuff happens all the time made by all these wonderful people, and then ruined by others on a "scene" site, where just a few guys have some administrative rights.

Booker, the world does not rotate around you, nor it does around Groepaz. You are just two planets that collided. He or any other moderator "is not CSDB". Your emotional blackmailing suggesting *implosion* that would take everything *you did* with it... they are just as pathetic as every other similar attempt that happened. Someone criticising you? assholes downvoting? Girl has left you? Groepaz sucks? Are these COOL excuses for acting like drama queen?

Of course, as far as I am concerned. I *reserve* the right to delete my stuff, anything I did whenever I want. I don't anyone dare to call me pathetic drama queen!!! You bastards!!! I hate you!

Zyron, exactly and if no one objects we could really delete / hide this thread from the forum. It's just doesn't make any fucking sense anymore :)
