Handle id #246 : (and more weird sceners)

A hoax, a wannabe or a true scener?

Same goes for Biotom.
And Combinator.
And Denon.
And Don Kamillo.
And Fee-nix.z.
And Frost.
And Hellboj.
And Irondude.
And Jaan.
And Lcd.
And Melnizz.
And Nyko.
And Point777.
And Pol.
And Relict.
And Solo.

Who the f*ck are these guys?!

entries like that can be safely deleted imho. if a scener entry is neither associated with a group nor with some release, its pretty much useless anyway.

Yep, someone's playing games here. :|

btw, these "sceners" don't seem to show the user that created the entries (in the top right hand corner)... so who's creating them?

they have been created in 2002, long before the database even logged who created what :)

oh and, KBS created them it seems.... could be they are simply leftovers from database testing back then :)

I think they somehow relate to Phantasy, check the text on those memebers as well as the scener ids.

I noticed the same as what iopop says.

But still, they don't seem to be related to the C64 scene, especially if CreaMD confirms they're Speccy sceners.

Aslo, check this thread for another speccy related issue.

I think they all should be deleted. No mercy :)

Another issue is the entries ("sceners"), added with no data at all (groups, releases...). People add at least what you remember about these dudes if you don't have anything else to add about the scener you add.

Removed all of them. If you find more entries like these just post them in this thread instead of starting new ones.

I could delete them myself, but I'd like a second opinion before deleting anything from CSDb that I didn't enter myself.

More weird groups:
Latex
Whelz

Anyone out there, who can confirm ->Arcane being a c64 scener? aswell as he has added quite a few unknown c64 BBS's, Groups and Sceners.

Atleast they're unknown to me ;)
