Release id #75124 : Rob Hubbard Editor
Another (ancient) tracker for the collection ;)
Any docs "hidden" on another release somewhere? |

press space to go into editor
f keys to switch voices/sound edit
its all made there, with codes, that nobody knows.
youre wasting time mstram.
sidwizard has full docs
sdi has full docs + my video tutorials on youtube
goattracker has full docs
cheesecutter has full docs
do you want to make sid tunes ?
those old editors are not very user friendly, you
only complicate things :) |

There's a disassembly/description of Rob Hubbard's early routine on the net here .Possibly some of the same control codes work in this though it uses a later revision of the player. (the disassembly is for Monty on the Run whereas this seems to be the '87-era) I used that to convert Goat Tracker songs to the Hubbard format, much easier than writing in source. |

Thanks 4mat, I already had that article, and the "block" format of the editor does use a similar format.
Also Laxity's post here explains that format further :
Release id #122333 : LAXITY editor v/32-3.34
The editor seems to be very "fragile", give it the "wrong" data, and I've had it lock up (running on Vice 2.4.15).
I'm still trying to figure out the "other" Rob Hubbard editor, Release id #66495 : The Robb Hubbard Music Editor V1.5
I'm not sure if it has an "instrument" page, at least I haven't found it yet. (Including looking at the dis assembly / looking for key-inputs etc)
