File formats: Screenshot PNG or .c file from proposed tool

Though screenshot .PNG won't be a problem, CSDb Mods will go crazy if you up anything but executable .prg or .d64 here ;)

How about making a ZIP including the required files? example:
Poopscii Disk Cover
the .c and the .prg were upped as separate files, I've zipped them. Not that hard to do =)

not seeing .prg or even .seq in the list of file formats is hilarious though :)

guess the desire for .PNG is clear (print those disk sleaves)

but not allowing .PRG is a little silly for a C64 competition run on CSDb, yeah, especially as most monkeys can be trained to dump a .PNG screenshot with an emulator ;)

40 x 56 character covers as prg files aren't exactly easy to print. How many paper-based covers are released in an executable format anyway? :)

The rules of the compos are irrelevant to me, you don't release a png _ONLY_ in here, prg or gtfo =)
Change the compo rules, do what you want, but the uploads here should include a C64 format (prg/d64/choose what you want)

Oh, then all these should have a prg, too, I guess: https://csdb.dk/search/advancedresult.php?form%5Bcategory%5D=re..

OK Then, I must have get confused by "PETSCII image", for me a Petscii image is a C64 file with C64 screencodes/characters in it, or an executable which prints something on screen.
If your aim is only printable disk covers it could be any pc graphic fileformat indeed.

ok seems clear now

however, as we're talking about PETSCII, would be great to have executable .prg in addition, pretty please with sugar on top! It won't do no harm but even helps proving it's really PETSCII

Alcools - great one, but wait... are colors allowed?!? I thought since this is a petscii cover compo I should use my MPS 803 dot matrix printer not a lame modern lasercolor one to print the cover :) also the template is all b/w so that tricked me! :) damn compo organizers! :) I spent a lot of time doing this masterpiece Poopscii Disk Cover now I want my time back!! :)
