Release id #170889 : Limbo Preview

I added this as a comment, but it should be here instead.

Excellent, it plays so well, but strikes me how did you guys get this. I can't find any announcement from the developer that started it a year ago. Is this really from Søren Trautner Madsen or it is some other parallel development ?

Cheers

We have asked the coder. He replied that there are solidified fronts with the trademark owner of the brand LIMBO. I personally don't understand the hassle, it's just a question about money. So to realize the project on the C64 I'm pretty sure there will be quite a lot users paying for this superb puzzle game. For example it does cost 11,99€ for IOS and Android. But not my fight to solve. Btw, I have LIMBO (yes, bought :) on my iPhone (but got stuck somewhere in a higher level) and love playing it.

I somehow doubt money is the main problem to realize this game on c64

Me too, especially on later levels where the whole world rotates etc.

AFAIK, he claimed from the beginning that not all levels could be made on C64, so I guess rotating ones are out of the question from the start.

Huh, says the guy who has mastered 2D rotation via char quantisation? =)

Haha! Hence I’m qualified to be sceptical! :D But if he said some levels are out of scope, then all is fine. :)
