Handle id #3502 : Sam
I've been studying the Finnish scene-years 85-89 for some time now (reading tons of scrolltexts and making notes) and I noticed that there are two different Sams that has been mixed up pretty bad here.
Sam / Point-X and Sam / Swapping with Amazing Programs are 2 different persons.
Sam (Sami M.) from Point-X later on (08/1988) joined Axion 1999 and then (early 1989) Browbeat . He followed pretty much the same path as his Point-X groupmate Dr.Code . They both lived in Kirkkonummi, Finland.
Sam (Samuli K.) from SWAP (originated from Nuutajärvi, Finland) later on (05-06/1989) joined Browbeat and changed his handle to Zarex (most likely because there was one Sam already) and then (around 08-09/1989) he joined Beyond Force and changed his handle back to Sam.
This is a real mess at CSDb at the moment. It will get even messier if I start making changes... :-) |

I would start creating a different Sam_PointX and rename current one into Sam_SWAP, so you can easily pick up the correct one while fixing entries, and start correcting the entries which don't belong to Sam_SWAP changing the credits to Sam_PointX.
Then fix the group of membership of both, adding the years of join/leave.
At the end both can be renamed to Sam. |

Ok, this is a future job to do (if anyone won't do it before me)... I'll go on with my scene-studies for the moment. |

Flex, you are correct about the "two Sams", the short period in Browbeat for me with the different handle mixed up things.
I have to further complicate things for you: there was also "Mr.Sam" in Beyond Force, who is still another Sam. We co-existed in peace in Beyond. Mr.Sam did mostly graphics, and I have some of his logos credited to me, such as Atrix Logo 1 (notice "Mr.Sam" in the screenshot). |

Great info. But please fix incorrect credits when you see them. I've changed it to Mr.Sam in that entry now. |

All cleared up in the database now.
All Sams in right places and credits should be there where credit is due. Also managed to dig up more history for Point-X Sam . |
