Release id #195026 : The Three Stooges' Revenge +D

I am not sure if these "imports" which only have a directory tag really deserve a separate entry.

Yeah, it's almost like linking your intro infront of something you downloaded from github.

Yeah I go back and forth on this myself. I try to be clinical about this sort of thing and tell myself it's not about what "deserves" to be in the Db even if it seems low-effort. This import, for example, is clear and understandable what it is supposed to be and who did it so it gets filed even though personally I think it only barely qualifies as collector material. I would definitely rather see an intro but I try not to make it about me. Seems like this was a real group with real members and a real BBS network and so forth, and these low-effort imports do tell their story, bare bones as it is.

Now, if it's just a file name tag (like the PAPERBOY!/KOF file I've been seeing since 87) then that just feels too vague and I ignore those. If it were multiple directory lines with "IMPORTED BY SO AND SO OF KNIGHTS OF FORTUNE, CALL OUR HQ", etc. then I'd feel a lot better about accepting it as what it purports to be.

erm - NO!

Adding dir lines is easier than renaming the file given the right DirMaster setup.
Please remove and don't upload such "releases". They simply don't add value over the original "crack".

Which in this case looks weird as well - is this just an unprotected original?

PS: Another example: some Basic program printing "imported by ruckeljuckel" and loading something else then doesn't deserve an entry with "import" tag either.

There's a few other releases of this on here and they're all designated as imports. Ikari's specifically says it was "cracked in the US". But no, it is not cracked. It's definitely a homebrew game and would never have been published as it contains elements from several commercial games. Aside from Stooges there's GI Joe and Beach Head, off the top of my head.

There's a doc file that floats around with the game that credits "Bansai Labs" and "Indy-Ware" for development.
