So Didi you are admitting further that you do not bother testing before just slapping releases with intro and trainer then. To be able to wait and see and fix them like a chimpanzee for points. Boy your a bit special and thick it seems. I do understand why people dislike you as much as they do. I hope you will snap outa what you are suffering from one of these days! Just test the damn release and codes (which i said i done) and be over with it! but i guess it's not a challenge ;)

Coder's flaw. Let's wait a bit if more pop up before updading.

@Didi please read your 2. and 3. again please and then try to skip to level 12 immediately ;) you just admit there is a FLAW.

@tNG: You are completely wrong:
1. This version is still based on the old executable because I did not check for a newer one.
2. Level code for stage 12 is correct with 18864 as shown in our code list. Just skip to level 12 and press P to show the code to verify.
3. The code entry in titlescreen simply does not allow to enter the same digit twice in a row which makes it impossible to enter this code.
4. As already stated: the code list is directly read from game memory and printed to screen from where the level codes and according level numbers are stored, so no typo could happen.

Conclusion: A new version based on the newer executable should be released by us. But as in these days it is common that various updates are made after initial release, I tend to wait some days before doing that.

@Didi still you did not extract the code from the updated version you used, so the code for stage 12 is 18864 in your list. Try entering it and see. 18164 is the updated code. So you did not update that for this version. Still good release.

I reported the password bug on itch in the comments section a couple hours after the game was released when I was testing all the passwords for our release. There is an updated version of the .prg that was posted a few hours later that same day with the fix which includes the updated code in memory.

This game is really fun and I highly recommend playing it with no trainers at all if your dexterity still allows.

Great release nonetheless Didi and the added high-scores are a real nice addition! Maybe worth doing a 101% version?

No code sheet was used. Codes are extracted direclty from game memory, so they should work nevertheless. ;-)

Laxity used the updated version of the game this time. But Laxity did not change the code for Stage 12 on the Code sheet the supplied, so it says: 18864 like the first version with error. It should be 18164 which is the working code for Stage12. Minor detail only as all the codes works and I tested them. This is a instant classic by the way and very well deserved a play through.

@Didi: +1 is not a significant increase if the end result is 2 and you still are a shit.

Well,

personal attacks like in this thread are really inappropriate (at least).

People are a bit too serious it seems... .. .

As the "personal attacks" are directed towards the capabilities and jobs of the targetted scener(s) - thats scene, life and sometimes the glory point price - for whoever takes victory on the battle.

We will ofc not tolerate threats crossing some lines - but I for my part will always encourage _these_ discussions.

Now - need to DL all the versions and actually play them or wait for the _Level12All999999_ patch?

Pls cont this *ultra cute* discussion.

PS: should add that IMHO Didi is definately on the better side currently - just to stir the fire.

What is this all about... That a +5 version including a hisaver that even was asked for here on CSDb, is superior to earlier versions shouldn't be the issue. Whether it can succeed in grabbing some of these statwanking points might be a controversial issue, but one only few ppl give two shits about, the more sane ppl only follow such discussions for entertainment reasons. That due to original update(/patch/you name it) some code sheet ain't working might be an actual flaw - given that an updated ori was used which no longer matches un-updated modifications done by cracker. But still, this ain't worth much drama in my book, just make another version (or as Didi announced wait some time as there might be a couple of more versions soonish).

One thing I don't agree on with Didi is [if it was 1988, it] Quoting Didi
Would make cracker's life much easier, because there would not be countless updates of a game published as final version. ;-)
If it was 1988, originals would still even have to be SUPPLIED or even cracked (go figure) and the main job would not consist of lurking online hitting F5 all day for updated versions (or even work in progress for some preview firsties, though that's not the case here)

Another nice jewel release.
I think the most personal attacks last years get Didi, looks he's the best active cracker around. If you aren't good no one cares, not even tNG. Keep on your good work.

Nice release! Doesn't earn points, but then, that's not the release goal here, a nice version and it succeeded at that.
