Release id #210907 : Briley Witch Chronicles V1.0.1 +DF
Ehrm, this isn't a "bug fix" but just a "work around" in the game.
A bug fix would be a new U64 firmware that can handle the original game properly! The behaviour is a bug in the U64 and not in the game, which works fine on an original EF3. |

I am also not 100% sure that the original works on EF3 hardware either. See http://skoe.de/easyflash/files/devdocs/EasyFlash-ProgRef.pdf

Do not rely on the assumption that EasyProg will erase the whole cartridge when a CRT file is flashed. Actually it will only erase sectors which are contained in the CRT file.
It might be pure good luck/chance that nobody ran into issues yet.

I still do it for older versions of the TC64 firmware, even though you mentioned that you now fixed it. |

Whats the point? Emufixing only hides bugs that should be fixed instead. |

User also might wait a little patiently, until the actual bug is fixed, even when there is an alternative by saving to disk till then. ;) |

As for TC64, there really is zero point at all :) As for 1541U/U64 you are actually making it worse by working around the bug - and removing the need to fix it.
Please do not emufix. |
