Release id #212277 : Sonic the Hedgehog V1.1
Behavior is unchanged from 1.0 on SuperCPU 64: still locks before playing the "SEGA" sample. |

Mr.Sid did test the game on his C64 with SuperCPU and a 1764 REU, and it ran just fine? What is your HW setup? If you are using Vice I would assume it's a Vice issue. |

I would never say "SuperCPU 64" when I was using VICE. This is the same setup I originally reported on the 1.0 release which has been caught up in the REU thread moderation:
NTSC C64
sd2iec loading original .d81 on #9 (no other drives attached), selecting Compatible load.
SCPU 64 w/4 MB RAM REV 2B ("UNIT" and "JIFFYDOS" always on Enable, read on for "SPEED" info)
REUs: Both CMD 1750XL 2 MB and C= 1764 256K
No difference in outcome based on which REU is used.
With SPEED switch in Turbo, the warning about NTSC 64 framerate will be skipped. With SPEED switch in Normal, the Y/N prompt about framerate is displayed.
(game is playable at least through completing Level 1 and bonus on this same hardware but with SCPU UNIT switch in DISABLE, so there is no obvious flaw in this hardware stack standing in the way of the game running.) |

I've been re-testing with my SuperCPU on different configurations, and I think I've found a problem there... I'll let you know when I have a solution |
