anyone has got disk with this utility? I own a 128Dcr with 512k reu and 8bit userport DAC so I want to feel power of amiga MODs on 128... |

I fiddled around with Modplay128 myself a while ago, with the following juicy ingredients: Jiffy equipped C128D, 1581 drive, 1750 REU. Really amazing what you can squeeze out of the poor 128 sometimes, but other times it sounds just plain crap. |

hmm... something failed... modplay128 stops at 95-98% while loading tune... modplay64 works however, have to check if REU works 100% properly . Unfortunately I don't have any romchip accelerator like jiffydos, but when loading small (up to 20kb) mods it's not that bad to use stock machine.
BTW I have also troubles formatting disks in 1571 mode - does this mode need disk to have only one notch?
is this possible to write D71 for 1571 with 1541 or do I have to connect PC with c128 and transfer MODules via rs232 to save stuff on 1571-mode disks? |
