I haven't found any additional info about this topic, apart from that it "runs smoother" on a C128. What exactly does this mean? Is it worth to unpack my 128D from the basement?

On a C128 the game runs in 2MHz whenever possible which means that the delay between rooms is much shorter and the framerate is more stable when lots of animated objects are on screen. If you have a C128, then I think it's worth playing on that...
