Some excellent work posted in that thread. Thanks for sharing....
The images you posted as examples, gives me a kind of classic late 19th early 20th century vibe. A kind of exotic aura (top girl) mixed a kind of early hollywood star system. The play with pixel/raster techniques in order to create depth is interesting, almost as if the artist have tried to mimic some kind copper engraving technique from late 15th century. |

Definitely unique for C64.
But it's classic engraving style, art classes teach it amongst basic techniques. My father in law did a whole bunch of similar stuff.

Thanks Sander. If you don't mind, I'd propose that piece for banknotes of CSDb's currency. It represents the global mental condition around here quite accurately. |
