Sid Duzz It
Hi'yall,
I was wondering who else is using Shape's SDI editor around here. I would like to talk about the editor with other users about their experiences with it and maybe some technical blah blah aswell.
Cheers! |

Hey, I got a little question regarding the SDI player. Did the initial SDI2.1 player also have bugs that may have been fixed in later SDI updates or does it only apply to the editor itself? |

Ah ok, now I'm still searching for a C64 Midi Interface that works with Sid Duzz It 3.0 Preview. Didn't find one yet. |

I'm using SDI 2.17
Is there a "new" song command ?
If not, it would be nice to have :
1) clear all command
2) clear Sequence / pattern data (keep instruments) |

I don't see any "new file / music here " :
SPACE Read a new directory into memory
* Display files A-Z
SH+* Display files Z-A
A-Z Set display path
SH+8/9 Select disk drive
Crsr keys Select music
Return Load music
,/. Jump 8 files up/down
ClrHome Top of directory
SH+ClrHome Bottom of directory
RunStop Exit
So I just saved a blank song on a disk called new. A kludge, but will have to do. |

GRG: that thing you changed with F4 in edit, is very counter productive.
Having pressed F4, it was possible to enter a note, and stay on same line, while hearing the sound.
Thats enough to try out things, and still be able to edit, and figure out what notes to enter. (composing from head)
Now you changed that, so it dont record the note..
Thats totally crazy.. now one has to play notes, and then exit the F4 mode, to enter them! crazy!
Maybe good for you.
I dont know if you done this for yourself, or think its smart. I dont think it is. It breaks the whole compose process.
