LIVE playable tracker?
is there a LIVE playable tracker like the littlesounddj on a gameboy?
i really like to compose 8-bit music and play it live with my gameboy on stage, i'd like to do the same with my c64, but don't know if there's a tracker that has a LIVE MODE for c64.. do you people know of any? |

I remember fiddling about a little bit on the program (Ubiks music), there are probably dozens of similar programs out there.

some trackers have live playing (soundmonitor, dmc, jch...) ... maybe for stage usage also stuff like midislave is useful. |

i used 2 instances of jch on stage. wouldn't call it live in the way of ripping-the-strings-live though. |

JCH or any other editor which lets you edit the song and instrument data while playing works fine. Or use Prophet64 if you want a traditional synthesizer rather than a tracker. |

Yes, but with JCH you can make quite complex sounds (wavetables) and play them live. :)
Guess, prophet64 has no wavetable-feature. |
