Searching for half-speed/25Hz tunes
Hello.
Does anyone know any good tunes made in half-speed? I would like to use one for a coming up production.
I already know there are two, one made by kb and one by yours truly ;).
HVSC links to any others would be appreciated.
thanks in advance.
p.s. Doesn't matter if there isn't any more... it's just I'm not really arsed to compose at the moment :) |

subtune #4 is half speed. But I fear that's a bit too huge to include in anything without ripping the sid apart =) |

hmm, yes that does look a tough one to rip as a single tune! :) oh well... thanks for having a look anyway iAN. It's quite a nice tune actually, though I don't think it'll suit well for an cracktro. |

I discussed this half-speed matter with Kjell the last time we met and we got quite into detail about it. According to him, he made more than 10 tunes using it and had a function built into his version of Digitalizer V3.5. It's even possible that the version uploaded here on CSDb supports it.
According to Kjell, he had been inspired by the nice choppy sound of early Mark Cooksey-tunes. There should be more than one tune by Mr. Cooksey which utilizes half-speed. |
