wanted, the baseline from Hit em up/2pac
Hi there,
i was wondering, is there anybody familiar with the rapper
2Pac?.. he has a song called. Hit um up.. this song has a very nice baseline and beat... i really like it..
maybe anybody knows a sid with a baseline (and beat) like this???
pretty strange question.. but you never know...

I am truly sorry to be the one to bring it to you in this way but numerous years on the internet have proved, at least to me, that asking for anything or, for that matter, asking questions at all on forums is a bad idea.
But seriously. It could be an idea to try to recreate the bassline on a simple keyboard to work out the notes and the lenghths and then edit them in a nice trackerprogram.
That is how it is done for quite a few years now on the c64.
And concerning the bass sound itself. There must be a nice goattracker module you can steal it from.
ps.
Do yourself a favor and take my advice not to ask here how to rip a bass sound from a goattracker module. Or be prepared to face more ridicule.

Angel of death, thanks for the advice... i just wanted to know if there was a cover of the song from 2pac... and indeed because of the many people on forums you get sometimes strange reactions...but overall i think the c64 scene is friendly,......
