Assign C64 Crack Intro to releases other than C64 Crack
Intros were/are used for every kind of releases and put in front of it but CSDb only allow them to be assigned to releases with release type C64 Crack.
This is a decision which I think is wrong. If an intro is used in some release, just assign it so we have a good overview of which releases use the intro.
The problem now is that CSDb doesn't allow it and the system can be hacked. People change the release type to C64 Crack, assign an intro to it, and then change the release type again. Also other properties are sometimes set which normally are only there when the release type is C64 Crack.
Just look at this:
Rocky Memphis and the Legend of Atlantis V6 Trainerloader
I was told years ago not to do this hack but people are still doing this because the system allows it.
There are 2 ways to solve this:
1. Fix it, so when release type is other than C64 Crack, all properties related to C64 Crack are removed.
2. Allow other release types than C64 Crack to be assigned to C64 Crack Intro. I would prefer this so we can fully document where the intro is used.
Better have a consistent database than all kind of dirty hacks. |

Are you fine with option 2? This will solve it all as well and much easier to implement. |
