SID links to c64.org not working
Hey guys
I've just realised that SID player links don't work any more because c64.org is down. You might consider switching to DeepSID.

Open any csdb.dk/sid/?id=xxxxx page, it has a broken link to c64.org. |

Ah ok, "SID player" got me confused.
Yeah, the removal of the links to c64.org in the sid pages is long overdue. Would be really smart to change them pointing to JCH's DeepSID at this point. |

Hm. SID files are coming from hvsc.csdb.dk for me. No problem. Or has this been quickly fixed this afternoon? |

you can see
HVSC :
/MUSICIANS/L/Link/Psycho_Tune.sid - c64.org
He's referring to the "c64.org" link on the right of the HVSC path which links to
http://www.c64.org/sidfind/?s=MUSICIANS/L/Link/Psycho_Tune.sid
It's dead since years and should be actually replaced with DeepSid if anything |

It was probably meant to offer an (external) sid player to the tune for the lazy ones not wanting to install one.
Change the template to make it point to
https://deepsid.chordian.net/?file=/MUSICIANS/L/Link/Psycho_Tun..
instead of
http://www.c64.org/sidfind/?s=MUSICIANS/L/Link/Psycho_Tune.sid
and it should be enough
I believe JCH is ok with it. |
