Release descriptions

Releases should have a description option. There was a utility that was released recently called Search DBC64. The only place available to describe this new release was in comments. MDZ put a description of this utility under comments. Not everyone does this. If there is an option for adding a description for releases (especially tools), people will have more of an idea what the release is. Games don't always require a description but the option would help. For tools, a description would help greatly.

Summary : (Description of effects, design, theme, music etc.)

Production Notes : (Behind the scenes info on the production of the release)

---
Like a lot of things here at CSDb, I think we already have this covered and don't need to add ten more sections for notes, descriptions, etc.

It's like the group jobs choices, way too many ... it's total insanity.

it belongs into summary. and i agree with moloch. i'd rather remove some of these than add even more.

While we're at unnecessary stuff, don't forget about the fullscreen graphician function. Still no intention to delete that shit?

I think we should add "Sideborder coder" as a new category. There are people who don't like coding in the sideborder, and there are others who simply aren't zzkhilled enough to do it. Why should all the *real* coders have to be in the same category as these looser d00dz? Act now!! :P

My votes goes to dycp-coder, font-graphician, stamp-faker (how can you be a serious swapper without faking stamps?), double-trainer (some people simply excelled at that during the height of the Gamer's Guide days), and of course re-cracker (+ re-crack for their releases).

WHERE IS MY FULLSCREEN MUSICIAN CATAGORY?!??!

also, I can't seem to properly add myself to the database, as the 'basiclamer' option is missing.

I am mainly interested on tools, and I think, the tagging will be good for subcategories for c64 tools.

Will be tagging sometimes avaible?

Other question:
Is it possible to get a more compact view about releases.
For exmaple like GB64 a three column page with screenshot, and some info with small chars under it from database (comments, release info, etc field)

Dear Groepaz,

Any sub category option? And an "overview" view (screenshot, some info, 3 colums... ?)

What is your opinion about them?
