Groups & members
I'm wondering in what way it's decided which group somebody is a member of in the credits?
For example, for many productions I see Tdj of Focus, Scene plus Magazine staff, even though I've been a 'member' of the S+ staff for a short period, and most of the time the production was not even released in that period.
Also, Compyx/Focus is creditted many times as Compyx/Black Mail, a group he was in for a very short time, even for Focus demos. A bit strange ..
A nice example is the new WWE demo I just uploaded, Primary Scar. I'm in here as Scene plus mag staff member as well as Focus & WWE member (which I am), but Hein is in here as Onslaught member. He is, yes, but in this case the 'idea' was that this complete demo was done by Focus & Xenon members (and No-XS ofcourse).
It would be nice if it were possible to somehow decide which group somebody is a member of for a certain demo, so I can have Hein/Focus there, and Tdj/Focus as well.

afik, the group is somehow set by the dates. If you have the dates set on when you joined / left a group that will somehow decide which group to add.
As an example I can take Poison. All new productions credited to him will show Poison / Impuls, Vision. Although his status in both groups are ex-member. But for both he have set joined date but not leaving date.
Which reminds me that I should have sent a PM to Perff some month ago to remind him about about this issue again, when he had less stuff to do. Maybe it can be fixed now ?

Iopop, seems you right, I set an end-date for my 'membership' of the Scene+ staff and hey presto! No longer is it behind my name.
So it seems that there's just a test on an end-date, not the memberstatus. And it doesn't matter what end-date too, because Hein is in Focus, but he already knows when he's gonna leave (2082) -> hence he'll never be in the credits as a Focus member.
Sorry, but that's some bad db design :) If I would pull a trick like that on my work, I'd be out of a job.
