Separating Trackmos and oldschool demos

Hi. I just had this thought if it could be an idea to separate modern trackmos and oldschool "Press space for next part" demos into two different chartgenres? I think that would be more fair to both genres...

Quote: whats in your contract then? some paragraph which forces you to tell how long you been in the scene in every other post?

Oh dear, still pissed because I told the world not all your demos are as good as you want us to think?

It's been a few years man, let it go.

Why can't some submitters learn the difference between "C64 Demo" & "C64 One-File Demo" is another good question I'd say.

I never agreed with the c64 one-file demo category, like I said: a demo is a demo.

Which is why I dont use the one-file-demo category when adding productions; a demo is a demo is a demo.

There might be a point in separating single-file and multi-file demos though, since they are different challenges, but I never made that distinction back then and I am way too conservative to change now.

Since there is a cathegory for onefilers I think it should be used. Otherwise you could as well use "Demo" for music & graphic-collections too since they are also demos in a way.

Couldn't agree more.

But Zyron, what's the difference between those 2 for you, apart from the fact the file format?

The file format is the difference & the reason for 2 different cathegories for demos, it's as simple as that.

Oh, and you should really clean up the mess in your bathroom!
